Swoppet Style
The swoppets were first started in 1962 and would continue to the demise of the company. To avoid painting the figures a new technique was design by Norman Tooth called overmoulding. Overmoulding is where the figure is molded in separate pats and then put together. This concept was design by Norman Tooth who we have met at the Plastic Warrior Shows. In addition to the figures Timpo vehicles, trains (ask Laurie about the time I brought three trains sets from England.) and forts. The most highly desire of this line are the Romans and Vikings.
