And they remainme of DUNKIN figures.Very cartoon.
Definetely not my like.
I will pass then.
My personal view s
Best.
Wonder about their size / scale? Maybe put them alongside some familiar figures for another photo.
Too bad they are done cartoon style. We could have used some more nicely sculpted plastic Gauls.
Use them for “The Hobbit” Scenarios.
Wayne a good possible logic idea.
Well thought!!
Still x me I got the real Hobbits dwarf s already so I will skip but is very good point and observation .
Best
Made especially in old Tehnolog style. For specific target group – Tehnolog fans, not for true toy soldiers collectors and wargamers.
Terrible in my opinion.
Well at least I can use better the generic not cartoon faces or heads of most Technolog brand sets.
But these not way and their prices way much x it.
Good luck x maker…
But out of my like.
Best
There is also a new Post-Apocalypse set from Warhansa. More realistic styling, but still based on the Tehnolog Squad model. Also, a kit to make one hard plastic 54mm Orc gladiator.

Their scale seems to be in 60 mm or more in many …hard to see as not compere pics …
The problem I see with company is in their web site the categorize some sets figures by the “”Historical”” .But they are not at all as funny looking with exaggerated weapons ,heads and faces in many (pirates and cowboys least).Sorry but they should not name those as that in my opinion.
This set has three poses in non action(one w carrying a dog!?) and two with two weapons but not quite very dynamic.Very unattractive too..
From 1 to 10 i give these figures 6 x sculpture- detail ,but i give 1 x poor in action ,realism ,use and accuracy on those call historical…
For fantasy well i guess most could be use for ,even caveman and wrestler figures can be use x it …
My thoughts..

Asterix cartoons…..pass
Ive just taken a look at the New Warhansa figures and I totally agree with the comments about these Gaul figures, They definately remind me of the famous Asterix books. Ok for a bit of fun and something different, But they are not for me im afraid. They are too cartoonish and 3 of the poses are boring. So I think they have missed a trick here and should have made more detailed and exciting Gaul figures. However I do like the 1/32 scale Orc figure which I might consider buying, Although I would like to know exactly what scale he is, Ive got a feeling he is more 70mm scale? Does anyone know hes true scale? I’d like to see him compared in scale with other well known 1/32 scale figures.
Apparently few had bought it but none can tell the real size,i ask two who have then and just respond 54mm approx.
So till some post a compere picture in FB or or in the Warhansa website or here we will not know.
This ebay RUSSIAN seller shows a gladiator 4 poses set in with a Reamsa and charben-60 MM and figures looks 60mm plus compere with ,also description says so.

The only i may get are the orc and warrior assassin poses if ever found cheap as thir exaggerated weapons and monster faces are match x then ,rest on (“”historical””) sorry ,Forget on that..
I notice their prices up too so too bad to sad.Good luck to this maker .
In gladiators i got plenty ,even vintage such Atlantic,Pech Hermanos ,Starlux Crescent, COMA(did a set of 5 gladiator plus 5 romans) ,MOYA and others go more cheap than these today if want more
In new and reissues gladiator are plenty too -Marx reissued, reamsa,Barzso,SUPREME,Furuta,Pegasus 2 set w 20 poses total,TECHONOLOG are 5 nice action poses too,ITALERI and others much economic…
My thoughts.
best
Thanks for the info Erwin, Yeah I think I have most of the Gladiator figures that you mention, But i’m sure there are some out there that I dont have. I have some of the Tehnolog Gladiators which I think look Great and ive brought many more to use for conversions that I do as I find they go very well with other figures and ive used many of them. As far as the Warhansa Orc figure goes , I think he perhaps stands 54mm tall but I think he may be very thick and may not go with other figures that I have similar, But as I say unless I can see a comparison I will hold off of buying him for now, Especially at the price he is going for, Which I do understand, But these Russian prices are getting a bit steep for me, But that’s just my thoughts.
Although they are cartoonish and for the most part udderly worthless with rotten poses, the sculpting is actually pretty good.
Yes, I think they are intended to be cartoonish, and in that sense, the sculpting is quite good.
oops utterly.
I painted up Gladiators tey are 60mm
check out http://54mmmen.blogspot.com.au/
SKYRIM Dragonborn is under beast and there are some 54mm from pegagus in one shot.
Nice paint job
Thanks
I just noticed Warhansa now has a set of German Paratroopers. 5 for $32 +postage. They look to be nice figures that match well with Conte & TSSD from the pics they posted, but they are still doing the firearms a little too large. Not as glaringly oversized as the gunfighters’ hand cannons, but the guns still aren’t perfect.
Here is a link to the Warhansa German figures

Similar to Matchbox in sculpting style but perhaps a bit larger in scale. It would be nice if they offered more poses in the set, like eight or ten different poses.
Too sad the helmets are done so horrible wrong ,so is the officer flat cap more like NCO soviet or british hat with panzer crew mix uniform .The weapons are too thick too and the LSMG looks like a M3 grease american type being hold by barrel!?
I would had like then ,but not after those errors.
The artist making these waste his work at all and not clue in making .Garbisch x me
Sorry I’m disappointed.
my thoughts.
Forgot add that three poses are not firing as one wondering w MG down ,other w a grenade holding clearly a US-M3 and the officer remains of Matchbox british 8th army officer …No good x me at all in 5 poses so few firing…x 32.00+shipping and bad done
Hope Action Casting do much better x their price ..
my thoughts.
Leave a lot to be desired for that price!! I know every set can’t be a “Plastic Platoon” but at least lets get some less cartoony weapons and poses.
