Plastic Figure Showcase Part Three 2017 we will look at some interesting figures. We look at the four different figures from the Dulcop Tarzan set. Next a look at the Marx pack mule with the reissue. Two German soldiers from Turkey may have been originally made by Koho of Germany. Finally we will look at some other photos.
Plastic Figure Showcase Part Three 2017 Dulcop Tarzan
Hunter and African native warrior.
Dulcop did a four figure set for Tarzan. They were originally painted and sold in a box. The figures were later reissued unpainted. You may be wondering why have two photos instead of one. I found the top two last month and sold them. Then I found the other two just this week. Never fails
Plastic Figure Showcase Part Three 2017 Marx Pack Mule
Here we have the reissue and original pack mules. The reissue pack mule was done in Mexico and did come with a pack. I have had the complete piece in the past.
While we are on Marx Animals I thought we look at the Marx 60mm horse with seperate saddle. The seperate saddle is the “English” or cavalry saddle. The cavalry saddle is harder to find.
Plastic Figure Showcase Part Three 2017 Turkish Soldiers
The above figures coming from Turkey. They are two of a set of figures I got from Barrie Blood. I also got the box which somewhere in the collection. The box was done in style of Airfix. Erwin Sell thinks the figures were originally done by Koho. He has a catalog from them which he will show in the near future.
Plastic Figure Showcase Part Three 2017 Other Photos
I like that Replicants has done various Civil War figures. The center figure is a typical pose while the other two are unique. The one on right is a Cantiniere these women were sutlers selling good to soldiers. Replicants has revised their Cantiniere giving her knife and adding a pack mule with two kegs. The fiddler is a part of a four figure set called relaxing in camp.
Finally we ghave a copy of the MPC Witch. this was done by Wilton for their cake decoration products. Wilton also copied the Marx Babes in Toyland
Those are not bad figures. I,am glad I keept Mine. Tarzan that is.
Dulcop Africans and Hunters have many uses for many periods ,wars. The figures natives could be easy converted in many poses too as to be use like ancients ,slaves or any else.
Marx Mules(these) are the best for my war loads forces ,they could be use from ancient till now easy. However their size is more for 60 to 70 mm match .They are in reissue by Classic Recast now in all silver colors too but prices are a bit up in my opinion.
I think the cargo packs for the mexican old reissues mules in pictures were made in Green ,also included in PLASTIMARX last Hen Hur playset sold in luggage type plastic case in late 70s .Mexican collectors paid top x those mint luggage playset for some nostalgic reason.
best…
