Clearing Up Various Things Information Etc. I have items I want to cover that do not fit on one topic. First we have photos of the Replicants Commanchee unpainted. I have some unfinished business on Marx six inch cowboys and Indians. I want to mention how we are seeing more of the old television shows on the cable stations.
Clearing Up Various Things Information Etc. Replicants Indians
One of the highlights of the Plastic Warrior show were the Replicants Commanchee figures. As noted before the set has four different poses. The photos we had were painted. The set is sold unpainted. The figures are real nice. If you want this set one possible way to get them is Steve Weston goes to OTSN or whatever its name is right now. Either you can attend or get someone who will attend to get you a set.
Clearing Up Various Things Information Etc. Unfinished Business
I need to say a few final words on the subject Marx six inch cowboys and Indians. Just a short recap. Hugh Walter stated that Elio Smonetti had scuplted the Marx figures. The correct scupltor was Bill Lemon. Hugh forced me to break a promise that I would not bother with Hugh. The infomation that Hugh had posted was so wrong. I will not information like that go by. I could see that Hugh had done little or no research on the matter. Just like he did not do any research on who the scupltor for the Elastolin was. I check with German sources and found the true scupltor. The scupltor is Max Weissbrodt. the German collectors have the information from Elastolin Archives. They also talked to the Max.
One final note Hugh do not try to put words into my mouth. I never said that Lemon influence Simonetti. All I said the Marx six inch figures were done by Lemon. The Marx figures copied by Italian companies. Many of the American figures were copied by other companies. In Italy besides Marx being copied Timmee was done as well.
I hope these final words settle matter.
Clearing Up Various Things Information Etc. Television Shows
