Russian Revolution Figures

Bas Enginner Russian Revolution Figures  have been causing a stir since we  first mentioned.  Until last week, I have been only able to see the figures in photos, until a friend sent me the first two boxes. The first  box has 12 figures in six poses. This is because there was problems with the mold  and four figures could not be runn until a later time when the mold was fixed and the four missing figures have been sold as a separate group.  The six poses are  two different standing firing, kneeling firing, ready with bayonet rifle, advancing with bayonet rifle and officer. The figures are soft plastic well detailed and poses are good except for one. I do not like the kneeling firing rifle looking to the side instead of straight ahead.

The second set contains ten different poses charging, officer with pistol waving, officer with pistol, down at side, officer with two pistols, grenade thrower, two different standing firing, rifle at waist and pulling back the bolt on the rifle. Once again the figures are soft plastic well detailed . The poses are good, I like the soldier pulling back the bolt on his rifle and one with two pistols. The figures could be adapted to later western scenarios.

There is one problem on the figures. The first set the figures are 60mm and the second set  the figures are 54mm.  This could be a  problem for some collectors if they want their figures  just right.  I have done  a series of photos showing the figures with both Marx 54mm and AIP figures to help in showing the comparsion.

Here is set one with a Marx 54mm figure

Here is set one with Aip Figures

Here is set two with AIP figures

Bottom line is you have decide if you want to add these figures to your collection or not.  Problem at the moment you can only get them from Russia. hopefully there will be some sources in the near future. As we here about them we will pass them along.

I have forward your email address to my friend. He will contact you when he gets them and will tell you the price which will not be cheap. The box sets are going to run between $38 to $50.00 each plus shipping. If you look at my previous postings you can see the figures.
