Ohhhh, some of those guys would make passable Almo Mexican officers. At least they’d work for me.

  2. peter evans says:

They also make very good Russian Napoleonic character figures

    • ed borris says:

Well they should as that is what they are supposed to be in the first place.

You’re both right – why I’ll probably buy two sets again – the ones not useful for Alamo I can always use for other Napoleonic purposes, just as I have with their other sets. My Napoleonic “armies” in 1/32 scale are missing good staff and command figures (not counting those officer poses waving swords around) and these fill those gaps nicely for me.

    My personally observation -Only.
From 1 to 10 ,with 10 been best.
    In sculpting 9
    In detail and historic- 9
    In scale 9
    In pose choose 8
    In interest 5
    In profit target -1
    In multipurpose x conversion -4
    In colors chose -5
    In plastic quslity-9
    In mold quality -9

Again as I mention at beginning of Chintoy ,they had choose to start with exception of rifles set a group of staff sets that have limited sale and x limited collectors target.
So I’m wondering if it will last to get enough recover to continued after in future.
If I would had been the maker with idea of releasing staff sets first. I would release one staff with one action/set else after every time in rotate sequence to get both collectors and greater expanded customers buyers area .
This set and any more staff coming would be not rush for me any time soon as I know would last for very long in market and I only would need one.
So will definitely be my last list wanted now.

    My thoughts.
    My opinion.
    best..

    In my opinion…
Kutuzov ,is represented as drunk with bottle in hand and not eye patch plus not too fat.
The drunk part is partially true but I think very odd represent him as such, is same as to represent Ulysses Grant drunk with bottles …
British Prime Minister Winston Churchill drank from the moment he woke up until he went to sleep. Stalin was a big drinker and might have been on a bender when the Germans attacked the Soviet Union…none represented with bottle in hand on plastic figures as far I know…
So they could well choose a better image just x sake respect of a national Russian hero!? … I think !!
    my thoughts…
