Larry Patterson’s Western Character Figures Part Two, Larry has sent us more photos of his western figures and a great Jesus on the cross. We are happy to be able to share these figures That Larry once did.
Larry Patterson’s Western Character Figures Part Two Photos
Going back to Lonesome Dove Larry sents this photo of two mounted figures.
Staying with the old television Westerns, Larry has done the main characters of Lawman. On the left Marshal Dan Troop and on the right is deputy Johnny McKay.
Larry converted the foot Wagon Train character figures to mounted figures. Doing the mounted figures filled that gap that Marx did not do have both mounted and foot version of the main character figure.
Larry created a scene great for any saloon four men playing poker. While no American company did this scene Cherilea and Charbens did. Recently Replicants did their own version of this western tradition.
This scene show what happens someone does not agree with your cards. How many movies and television shows had a disagreement over cards.
Larry did this group of figures of 10th New York National Zouaves with Colonel Bendix. The figures were painted by Wil Leary. I like the review stand with the figures.
The final western photo is Custer and the 7th Cavalry heading toward Little Big Horn. Another great scene that has not been done often.
Larry Patterson’s Western Character Figures Part Two Non Western
The non-western photo we have this post is of Jesus’ Cruxification. Larry did not only Jesus, but also the two thieves who died with him. At the base of Jesus cross, we have to Roman soldier gambling over his clothes. The other crosses have a Roman soldier guard. It is is a lovely display that someone would like to have.
Larry Patterson’s Western Character Figures Part Two Final Thoughts and Comments
Once again Larry has amazed us with his various figures. We will have to see what he next finds. One note we had to remove the phot we had listes as Glory Guys. Larry realized the photo was from someone else. We have one person asked abouyt Larry getting back to figures again. I am afraid that is doubtful as it has been some years since he stopped making figures.
Those are outstanding.
I was trying to contact Larry but his email changed, and I cannot get in touch. Do you have a phone number or email address?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
