Technolog Napoleonic Cannon the Unicorn our very good friend has a review a new item from Russia. As you will find out from Erwin’s review you have a great new item for your Napoleonic wars.
Technolog Napoleonic Cannon the Unicorn the Review
Technolog from Russia had been a important factory since 2000 for my private collection. I have been amazed as much I can(one or two set each) in the 50 to 60 mm range, most are 54 mm figures in mine.
Other figures are in the more small 30-40 mm scale. I do not collect these figures.
Many figures are futuristic and fantasy ,but some are historical. Among them are a few sets of Napoleonic wars.
Figures and detail are great. Plastic have been done in hard stiff(not fragile) plastic and most recently in newest more soft plastic but not all sets.
While poses figures set are not impressive they are a good add on to any armies. In equipment they had done a bunch of artillery pieces among many other items. Once again most are futurist pieces.
But one specifically apparent release in 2016 as far I see in bags are these cannon.
It is a very accurate realistic true 1/32-1/30 scale Unicorn or Licorne 1805 Russian artillery cannon from Napoleonic war eras. It was used after in many other wars and even sold and or exported to other countries as well.
It could be use too as well as 6 /8 to 12 pounds armies cannons for other countries armies.
It comes unassemble and requires some minor skills to put together in a hard but still flexible plastic and use the snap together technique.
However I recommend use a minor drop glue in one small part only if wish.(It took me less 7 minutes put together in first, less time after in rest)
The barrel move up and down or can be adjust by pulling or pushing forward the elevator as show in pictures.
The spring is enough to fire shells and knock down figures at 4 to 5 feet max.
Love the canon. I live in the USA where can I purchase this model?
Thanks
Benjamin
When I get home I will post link.
They are very cheap.
Best…
Thanks Erwin
I agree service from Ukraine has been very good when I have ordered. The price is less than what you would pay in the U.S. for the same item. that is including postage.

Looks like this batch is sold out. Firing cannon looks good. I would say OK to use with pirates or AWI as well.
It is ,I contact him and he said he will restock soon.
I had not see other from Russia carring it yet.
It may be used too x AWI .
I agree too.

These have been available since 2011 in some of Tehnolog’s battle sets. The sets were in the 2011-2012 catalog. Two come in each battle set and they were originally done in silver-gray plastic.
It is about time they made them available separately. This is welcome news.

This is a really nice looking Cannon! Just what I need is to be lobbying projectiles 4 to 5 feet! Sounds like fun 🙂 I could also see using the cannon with AWI and Sailors/pirates as Andy noted.
Technolog has some interesting products. Thanks for the article and photos, Erwin.
I was looking at their fantasy pirates as a possible purchase some time in the future. I’ll keep your figure comment in mind. Have you acquired the pirates? If so, what is their height? I am always looking for more pirates and sailors in 52mm to 60mm size, with 56mm the optimum size.
