East Coast Toy Soldier Show Part Two Final Photos and Thoughts
This was a display of vehicles that dealers selling his vehicles.
The dealer had lot of Britains Deetail
The show had reenactors which were showing collector living history.
The show was a little down in attendance. There were dealers missing but they were replaced by other dealers. Bill Lango the promoter once again did a great job. I got the new LOD chariots and some items for resale. This show is always an enjoyment and we will be back next year.
I saw the two blister Dinosaurs and were interesting as I never see then in that format before,Price was not bad either for condition.
Tommy Hill had several of my best find ,included the rare train cars plastic made in Germany in 70’s by Bruder in great cheap price. Too bad I did not got rest or cars included big crane. To my surprise after I go back and made a research they are very hard to see around. Most Bruder find toys are died cast line.
I got several other great figures. He also had tons of Sunjade/Supreme figures x 0.25 each, camels as well horses. I got 4 camels and two horses as well few extra knights and other things. He had plenty hard plastic LIDO knights horses x 25 cents too, as I need to complete my riders with few broken I manage get some extra.
Good price on the Lido knight horses. Two years ago at OTSN, I needed about 10 Lido knight horses for mounted figures I already had, and the least expensive I could find them was a big box one dealer had of them, both walking and running, both black and silver, at $1.00 a horse. That’s where I purchased them, since a few rooms down another dealer had a box of them that he wanted $2.00 each for.
Don.Is funy ,but that is about same I saw.Few tables down another seller had them x 2.00 .
I was about mention about other selling x much less, but I think it could be rude.So I let be.
At the end I think 2.00 is the right price x vintage Lido but I can not pass deals.
I alway looking to complete my vintage collection cheap way possible as I got some holes here and there on sets.
