I like those. I’ll make a note to get some.
EB had been x long dealing w mold issues, their halve mold seems are odd some times.
The detail is great!!! 🙂 🙂
It is a matter of mold issues where halve seal and let match both sides also creating the air bubbles and excess plastic off.
Hope they fix it soon with out increasin the price more what are now.
Coolest figures in the biz!
Who is selling them? Steve Weston still shows a delay.
Right now it looks like the Russian dealers have or will shortly.
Actually, I found the link to the eBay seller. Thanks.
Andrey have them both in his ebay and site stores .
No other dealer had them x sale now as far I check.
Best…
The day before election day the postman delivers my box from Russia. I resisted the urge to joke with him, “Just in time – my polling station hacker kit!” He wouldn’t have gotten it anyway.
These are some of EB’s best. Turks could potentially be used for Khartoum. They go nicely with Barzso Barbary Pirates and AIP Egyptians. The Russians could be anything from ACW to Sepoy Mutiny since some caps are with havelocks. The General Skobelev figure is outstanding. There were none of the air bubbles or defects that were a concern.
The only thing I wish were different is that the color of the Russians and Turks is exactly the same (I get it that Europeans paint whereas Americans generally don’t) – but then, I think that was true back then too.
Finally, here is a link to a Soviet movie about the Russian-Turkish War in Bulgaria.

Sorry, no subtitles, but you can see how faithful their movie and EB were to the uniforms of that period.
Is the Turk in the back row with the fez and outstretched arm with handgun firing a flintlock or percussion pistol, or a Volcanic repeating pistol? If it is a Volcanic, it is a toy soldier first, as far as I know. Looks like it might be a Volcanic to me: http://www.mcssl.com/content/assets/33/331484/22-1121_RIGHT.jpg
There are two figures with outstretched pistols. The officer’s definitely has a cylinder but the Turk running and firing could very well be. I looked at it under a magnifier from all sides and it appears close to the photo.
