One reason I like to go to shows physically here and Europe is to see things that I might not see in a book or on the internet. An example of this is the Roche Disney Davy Crockett Figures. I acquired some of these figure a few years back at a Plastic Warrior Show. I discovered they were done by Roche candy. A book I got later on French giveaways listed them being made in 1976. There are 30 pieces in the three series and they cover life of Davy Crockett. The three different series family, Indians and General Jackson have 10 pieces each. The last series also includes several Mexicans including a Mexican officer in presiodo hat and sword. the set has two accessories cannon and totem pole. There are two mounted figures with horses.
The figures are 6omm and are not very detailed. They are similar to a Timmee pioneer figures in style and would mix well with your Timmee pioneers and Indians. I will be putting some of these figures up on Ebay for sale.
While the Mexican’s leave something to be desired, the pioneer looks kind of nice.
they are an interesting set of figures when I get the figures up on Ebay you will see an interesting mix som good and bad.
You seem to always find the most interesting items
