Tree House Kids Aliens Playset Science Fiction Comparisons we are going to look at two things. First we will look at the out of print Alien playset by Tree House. Then we have comparisons with other science fiction figures. This includes Hasbro, Diamond select and Timmee. We have to thank Billy Hill for this information.
Tree House Kids Aliens Playset Science Fiction Comparisons Aliens
The Tree House Kids Aliens Playset was issued in 2004. How I missed it I do not know. The playset is on three levels. You get seven aliens and six Colonial Marines. There are three different alien types. The six colonial marines are various characters from the movies. Rounding out the set are six boxes and 8 alien eggs. If you want to the contents in detail you go to You Tube. Some has done a review of the set and goes over the content.
This is a nice self contain playset. The Colonial marines in the playset are Corporal Hicks, Sergeant Apone, Private Frost, Corporal Dietrich, Private Chow and Private Wienzbowski.
The aliens are three inches tall. The colonial marines are two inches tall
Tree House also did mini sets of extra figures. Each box has one Marine and one Alien. In mini sets you three more character figures: Private Hudson, Private Valquez, and Private Drake.
One collector painted the figures and did other customization which really enhance the set. You can see his work here.
The playset is not cheap. Checking Ebay I found two playsets for sale one at $299.99 and the other at $449.99. also on Ebay the mini sets of one Colonial marine and one alien sell for around $14 to $15.00.
Tree House Kids Aliens Playset Science Fiction Comparisons Different Figures
Billy Hill realized if would be good to show how other science fiction figures would work with Tree House Kids Aliens Playset.
Here we have the Hasbro Star Wars figures with Tree House Kids Aliens and Marines.
Billy also places them with Diamond select aliens and marines. He also compared them to the StarCraft Zerglings & Space Marines, and the Timmee Galaxy Laser Team figures.
Nice work comparing, fine I was making one but just for aliens comparing it with BB brands.

Original playset only come with 6 of 9 marines poses plus 7 aliens.
The Minis sets are not with exact figures inside, were sold first as surprise/blind pack call (SWAM CASE PACK)and included a marine or two or one alien and one Marine, plus one or two alien eggs- hives. They were seal.
Aliens monsters were in 3 poses, however they were limited sets in swam packs with then as glow or translucent colors sold in window cases by 2006/07.
The heads and tail of aliens could be removed and swap reglue back to create other poses. I did it.But then in boil water to soft part before remove, not worries made of PVC. Marines are made of polyethylene
I also sold many marines full set poses recently and still have one lot left but with few poses only.
Marines were 75 mm aprox wile aliens 90 mm
Only other playset I know made about aliens was by Blue Box -HK in 90’s I have it complete with box and else-space base too. The aliens are in scale with new space troopers made star craft .only two poses aliens made .45 mm aprox
Start Craft company released in 2004/05 a series historical figures fully painted in 1.3
2 scale for fabric stores with two figures inside too.indians, egyptians, mayas, knights, romans and others.
The company (Palisade-TH)plan and announce for (Depredator movie) playset and was pre advertise, never release, it is on CF blogs if google it.
I will get the link as soon get it.
TAKARA Japan did the figures with Arnold and others, a Russian unknown firm in late 90’s copied then in crude 50 mm scale too.
Correction…
Sorry MARINES are max 65 mm tall, not 75 mm …Aliens are 85/90 mm
and Predator first film, not depredator I mean…That TAKARA did a set copied in Russia and Palisade announce but never released.
I got the TAKARA and Russian version as well. Nice done 54 mm.
