Great deal for two chariots that are this well done. Congrats and thanks.
Great DEAL and packing arrange design .Congrats!!!Well though choices of colors ,arrange and distribution.
An excellent packaging design, and a highly reasonable price for getting both chariot sets in the same package.
Nice! A small playset in one package!
Nice! A small playset in one package! Now to read the Iliad.
These Chariots look Great and nice packaging to, A Brilliant addition to any ones collection.
Agree , very nice packaging, kind of looks like the Marx packaging of Ben Hur chariots ( remember those)? Looking forward to seeing them at the Chicago Show, Ken!
I too think they are fantastic. My only question is the pose of the horse. Not sure why the horses are all rearing? Great price too.
Because they are in the midst of the action outside the walls of Troy?
That made sence Don and sound more realistic too.
To be used agaist infantry too.
Now I will personally had preffer running. However as I mentioned before in first time they were show.If terrain else in front is cut I think will be easy lower then down to change the pose easy.
My thoughts…
Erwin, I agree – one can easily modify it either way without much trouble – would often rather have it that way than be stuck with a static pose. Kudos to the producer!
I can see Achilles and Hector playing Chariot Chicken with these babies.
LOL!!,Chariot chicken”, that was funny…
The price is better deal that single chariot from EXF $39.80USD with 2 figures only.
😉 Totally agree on the deal – definitely where my money will go.
Hello everyone ….. Thank you for the kind words and comments regarding the War at Troy chariot set. I hope to see some or many of you next month at the Chicago Toy Soldier Show. I will have a large display Thursday through Saturday on the 5th floor during room trading. The chariot set will be prominently featured along with the first figure set and the Walls of Troy.
The horses are rearing for the exact reason that Don Perkins shares above. In the Iliad, they always delivered the heroes to the thickest part of the battle (Achilles, Diomedes, Hector, Aeneas) and we envisioned the noise and carnage to startle even the bravest of steeds.
Once again, thank you for the comments and support.

I was lucky enough to see the pro types. Believe me they are even better ” in person”. Ken is much too modest, lots of thought went into these figures. For example, the Greek and Trjans in the back of the chariots have “pebbled” bases so they can be used on and off the chariots while the drivers ( empty handed) have smooth bases. And some bowmen from Ken’ s first set of figures will fit in the chariots giving you the option of a variety of figure poses. I am not an ancients collector but these are very nice chariot sets and will fill a hole in a lot of collections. Ken, I hope you bring a lot to Chicago because you are going to sell a lot!
