Our very good friend Peter Evans puts together a box of interest items. first of are some super heroes sold in bling bags. Also Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sold on cards. Peter Evans Treasures Finds August 2016 Superheroes
Peter knows that I like superhero figures. It goes back to when I was a child. I made up some of my figures by painting them in the colors of the superheroes’ uniforms. Since then I have been pick up superhero figure since the Ideal DC figures.
The first group is Marvel Superheroes sold in blind capsules. The Spiderman we had before. This time I got Ironman, Thor and Incredible Hulk.
In this photo we have two Mighty Mini’s in the center. They are Gold Superman and Lex Luthor. These figures you can take a apart and switch the arms and heads around. The figure on the far right is Queen Amidala. The figure on the far left is a copy of the Britains Farm woman with tray.
Next up is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Power cards. The set has the four turtles. Each turtles is 2 1/2 inches tall. The power cards are to some game.
Peter Evans Treasures Finds August 2016 Tourist Items
The next items are four tourist items. They are 3 1/2 inches tall and are made of resin. The group contains a highlander, a grenadier, a lifeguard and a Yeoman. I find they figure disappointing in quality. The sword on the grenadier is too big. they sell for a pound ($1.32). Something for the tourist that wants a cheap souvenir.
Peter Evans Treasures Finds August 2016 Peter’s Work
We next have one of two figures Peter sent us that he did work on. (The other figure is a Marx Mexican conversion broke at the waist and needs to be repaired. I will show it in the future.)
This figure is example of one of the many figures that Peter has painted. The figure is a Timpo AWI painted as a Jersey Militia man.
Peter Evans Treasures Finds August 2016 Miscellaneous
First of all we have Goofy as pioneer. To his right is a soldier standing with an automatic weapon. Goofy is 2 1/2 inches tall and the soldier is 3 inches.
Here we have a 45mm mounted Indian with a lasso. The figure is 45mm. Ultron is 3 inches tall. I have no idea why Peter sent a harp. That is interesting as we had harpist at our wedding reception.
Finally for Laurie’s dinosaur collection we have two dinosaurs lifting weights.
I am sure Peter will have more surprises in his next package.
I like the dinos x my daughter
The conversion looks like a Timpo swop figure, to me.
