The German Plastic Show was held on March 13 in Herne Germany at the Kulturzentrum. the show had dealers from Sweden, Russia, Netherlands, United Kingdom besides Germany. The show has all types of plastic for the collectors in the 1/32 and 1/72 scale. One highlight of the show is to go through the loose figures of our very good friend Peter Bergner. peter has loose figures in both 1/72 and 1/32 scale. As you can see from the photo above Peter’s loose figure is one whole row of the show. We have heard a reports of collectors going through the tables for hours.
There is a wide array of other figures for you to look at and purchases. Our very good friend Andreas Dittmann reported that he got a box set of Reisler of Denmark from a dealer from Sweden Andreas said that the Swedish dealer had box Britains and Corgi sets.
John Begg had a wide array of plastic from the United Kingdom. John has been doing to the German Plastic Show for many years and collectors look forward to his surprises.
The Russian dealer at the show was Dmitry who we saw at Hackensack last year. (the photo of him is from Hackensack). Dmitry was selling Pvblivs and Engineer Bassevitch. Dmitry also had the New Mars figure sets.
At German Plastic Show the Dabro Parts had some new items at the show according to our very good friend Axel. Dabro Parts make pieces to go with Timpo figures. They had several new heads for the plug in figures and a two man Viking canoe.
The crowd was slightly less than last year, but those who attended found treasures. Andreas was able to acquire a rare Kinder Egg 54mm Robinson Crusoe. Axel was unable to get any Timpo color variations, but he did find some dwarfs Del Prado Indians to paint and rubber Viking. Both my friends will go back to the fall show. Once we have a date we will post it.
We would like to thank our friends Andreas and Axel for their information to help me do this article. I also would like to thank Mathias for use of the photo from the show.
Yes, once again a great show.

Thanks for the photos Markus !
Markus thank for making us aware of Peter’s photos.
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’m going to dream tonight good!!!
Where did you see that amount of plastic here!!??
Those rows of box after box of single loose figures are amazing. I can easily see people spending hours going through box after box.
Looks awesome !
great that you liked the pics, tried to make enough figure photos this time.
Just to straighten things out, we had the same amount of people coming thru the door as always, the only differnce this time was that they didn’t came all at once like last time. It is steady for the last years, fortunately.
The junk boxes are one of my personal hobbies, try always to get as much as possible. Maybe one day we will see us in Germany digging in plastic.
Have fun and don’t forget to play with your figures too
Peter
Thank you for the photos Peter, a plastic lover could go crazy in a room full of all that plastic !
I love the “junk” or single figure boxes, too. Get’s kind of rough with the elbows sometimes for me; I guess I’m just too polite. LOL
Makes me wonder what kind of plastic is in those bins.
Ed,.many are wonder x us here as most nade in Europe.Barely brought here.
While the main brands are more known here thanks to few dealers, now ebay.
The odd are know thanks to Stad list .
I remember been.intrigue and introduce to the rarest figures by Stads list.
Then l bought from Dittman direct till ebay come out.
From asia and south central America is in my trips and connections.
Europe is another complete world.
You’re probably right, most is probably European plastic, the one figure I can see fairly clearly though appears to be a Marx knight. I recently bought a lot that contined quite a few Charbens British Grenadiers, I had never seen before , while they are not the best looking figures I have seen, they ahad a certain charm to them , we also got some Charbens Sikshs. The Grenadies are selling like hot cakes, but nobody is interested in the Siskhs. It’s true we don’t see a great deal of European plastic at shows.

The foreign plastic got into mostly large cities. Even at Hackensack I see little foreign plastic despite being close to New York City. Sometimes I get foreign plastic in odd places. I have picked up Greek figures at a flea market 20 miles from here.
