Do You Recognize These Figures?

I picked up a couple of figures at the Merchants Square toy Show that I do not recognize. the first one is Some cavemen type. I had gotten one before.

rsz_032The arms moves and the figures bent at the waist. They are sixty millimeter.

The next one is a  gargoyle. I am not sure if it is from a series or not.

The last one is a PVC figure which I believe is from some cartoon show. If you do know let me know.

If the gargoyle is around 3.5″ high aprox and PVC ,it a copy of original BLACKSTAR CARTOON base red Devil made by Galoob Larami. It was later version call yellow demon or alien demon.I had 2 of then and one Original. They did it in many colors.
The last figure come from exact series and collection and is one of the (Trobbit) character.
So or off copied base in Hobbit personage

Second figure name is (Paulo) the trobbit ,the series start in early 80’s.I think the first primitive men are related too.

  3. Brian Nielsen says:

Holy Cow, I am impressed that someone knew what those guys were!
    Well done!!

  4. Billy Hill says:

I THINK that last one might be a gnome from Blackstar.

  5. erwin says:

Last one is Paulo ,the mute whistler;that is his name ,the Trobbit is how the tree dwarf or elfs are called in the cartoon. I think there 7 in total.

    • erwin says:

Yes they did it in a bunch colors, even pink and lavender or purple.
      Just google.

My gargoyle is orange/yellow. I don’t remember where or how I got him. I have used him as a cave troll, as in when the Fellowship of the Ring was trapped in the chamber in the mines of Moria. “They have a cave troll!” I have always liked the looks of that figure.

I got mine x fantasy scene reason too. I often pick rare figures from other to create these fantasy sets of my own too.
There plenty from 80′ and early 90′ cartoon to chose from as well
Dungeon and dragon, he man and other series related toys have some goods too.

When I was young I used to do stories with my figures so I looked for odd figures to be character in those stories. I feel sometimes that is why I buy a figure, though I don’t get time to do stories or have the room.

      You nail good.
I never though of fisher at all.Interesting figures
They remain me of the wild men of LOTR literature.

      • Mark T. says:

My son used to have some of the Imaginext cavemen when he was a few years younger. When he stopped playing with them, I was going to recruit them myself, but my wife grabbed them for student rewards to put in her classroom’s treasure chest.

I always have to be careful of my own toy soldiers because of that darn treasure chest! I’ve told her how valuable some of them are, but mostly to her they are all just considered “clutter”. She DOES know enough about toy soldiers to leave my Timpo guys alone, though.

I had a feeling they might be. Last year when I hit the yards sales I picked up a few Imaginext which I sold a few and keep a couple. I like they way they look. Also I have Superhero collection.

    Mark I agree .
I think indeed is base from many ,Blackstar copied from Thundarr,He- Man and others; the trobbit name was base from the hobbit wile the character style are base from the 7 dwarf mix with tree elf. So was a mix of things.
Any how it was a lot strong competition when release too.
