Denis a well known Russian collector has done a series on the Marx variations in 60mm. He has been kind enough to send those links to his pages to us so that you can see the difference between the various figures.
Hi Paul,
I read an interesting topic on your blog. “Marx Plastic
Figures in Russia”. I conducted a research and has published the
several articles about the origin of the Donetsk figures.

Unfortunately the article is not translated in English but there are
comparative photos that explain the origin of the figures. Also at the
end of each article there is a table which shows the history of each
of the sets.
These same tables also available in the article Charmore.

Hope this info will be useful.
Best Regards, Denis Rylev (aka Den71is)
Hello Paul, are you sure that Denis Rylev is Denitz? I think they are not the same person.
Mathias
Thanks for the correction, too many names to try to keep straight.
The one part that seen a mystery still is how and who did the business of the Marx mold with former Soviet, now Ukraine factory back in late 70’s . If it was a former Marx company worker or Marx himself who decide sale it. That was an era in which business between the two odd and not in business economic system were hard to get in touch.
