We heard from Les White and he sent along a photo of his Star Wars Conversions
Here is a pic of my first completed Star Wars Stormtrooper Squad.
Using the 2 Stormtrooper and one Sandtrooper pose and the hands from a TIE Pilot from the line.
The material is really easy to work with and I was able to produce these different poses just by cutting and gluing, no modeling putty was required.
I’m still working on a Sandtrooper Squad, Scout Trooper Squad with Bikes, a group of Sand people and a Rebel Cell, it all takes time when real life gets in the way 
So more pictures to come soon.
The scale of these figures varies between the various sets but it looks like Britains Herald/Deetail figures are the best match, possibly some Marx figures but I’m not familiar with the size of all their figures. The Herald US Cavalry are a good starting point to some Rebel types and as the Imperial uniforms are based on WW2 German ones I think some poses from these sets will work for conversions too.
I’ll keep looking to see if the Wave 3 stuff turns up as there are some useful poses if the scale is good. I’d like to make some Bounty Hunters.
