We have a few more photos from Plastic Warrior Show this time from another very good friend Andreas Dittmann. Andreas has also given us some background on the various photos.
Delef Heerbrand from Germany and Tomek Karpowicz from Poland
Alwyn Bryce the author of many PW articles about Elastolin (I was tempted to buy that Timme/Processed Plastic tank he was holding, but the price was 15 pounds. A few tables further I got it a a present from Brian Carrick for free! I love that Processed Plastic stuff as it remembers me on our tour through the States in 1992 when I found some in a shop in New Mexico, a armoured car).
A collector from Portugal with Portuguese figures
Lots of boxes of loose figures to dig through
A view of the PW show hall
I like seeing the camraderie and friendly expressions on the faces of the dealers and attendees at the PW Show. It reminds me of the shows here in the U.S. — toy soldier collectors being a friendly bunch who enjoy conversing with each other, interested in what each other collects. We know we could attend the English or German shows, and immediately feel at home with the collectors over there.
And I would love to get into those boxes of plastic soldiers, 4th photo from the top.

I hear you. I especially love going through my very good friend Peter Bergner’s boxes as he get figures from all over Europe. At the last PW show I found a Spider-man figure made in Germany

I would add the French shows to that list. The collectors from France and have a good time finding items and sharing am meal or drink with their friends.
Laurie and I have had many good times at the foreign shows. As I mention what is nice at the PW shows the pub is close by to take break.
