Pre Christmas Roaming

Today I went to my Wednesday Flea Market. I knew it would not be good because it was a day before Christmas and we had rain. Still I went because I would be able to buy some food for us.  The trip was not bad despite the rain. I checked the building that has non-permanent  dealers. There is usually one or two dealers that I can find items not today. Also there were some outside dealers under a covered area, they had nothing as well.

This did not upset me as I figured I would get some food. One stand had a pumpkin pie that Laurie likes. Laurie does not like nutmeg in her pumpkin pie. This is because where her mother of from did not put nutmeg in their pumpkin pie.  We found at this market pumpkin pie she loves. I also got a black raspberry pie. I also stop at a deli that makes their own food.  I got some items that I had purchased before plus some new items to try. I also look in a discount variety store at the market.  I found a card with three 60mm soldiers with a tank for only a dollar.

I picked up Laurie and we went to a Mid Eastern restaurant we love. The restaurant is run by husband and wife, who just about make everything themselves. Our favorite food at this restaurant is arabit which is cauliflower fried plain then covered with tahini sauce. It is only the way I like cauliflower.  The owner gave each of us a piece of cake to celebrate the holiday.

From there we went our separate ways to do some final purchases. I stopped at my local comic book shop to wish the owner happy holidays and pick up a few items.

Tomorrow we will relax  and go to see a movie.
