Our very good friend Brian Johnson sent us a report on toy soldiers he found in a Canadian Tire Store.
These are the Tube 8th Army figures( 16 figs to a tube) that I first thought were the French till I picked up a tube.Found in the “Canadian Tire” store which is a Canada wide chain store.Priced a $5CDN per tube.”Made in China” on the base with no other markings.Identified on label as “Distributed by Ricochet” and www.groupericochet.com. The British Soldier Poses
Two of the American poses from the Set
Two of the German poses from the set
They look like fairly nice figures especially at that price.
These are the same DGN-not HING FAT figures run in different color.Good question:How many poses per tube are in each set!?
I live in Toronto, is that where you saw them?
Christian
That is where Brian saw them.
Langley BC, contrary to popular belief Toronto is NOT the centre of the Universe,LOL.But I would think they are in all the Tire stores.
Very interesting ! The German figures look very much like Marx Battleground figures.
Please keep me tuned on these Brian !
FYI at today’s(11 Dec) rate $5CDN=$4.33US =27Cents per fig for 16 fig tube.
