Timpo Conversion Buffalo soldier

I like that with Timpo you can do conversions without having to do  conversions. By just  taking a part new or old and place it on a figure and you have new figure.  An example of this is the figure above.  Someone did  human heads in black instead of flesh.  With one of the heads I was able to change this cavalry figure into a  buffalo soldier, who served in the Old West.

That is pretty cool Paul. I am surprised no major company makes figures like this anymore, multi parts in different colored plastics, that make decent poses. With the technology available its really a shame.

Part of the reason a company will not parts is the child safety laws. Because of the small parts makers would be reluctant to do something like that. There has been some examples of people doing parts to use with Timpo figures.

Yes, there are some foreign companies that sell them on ebay, and Don, was doing figures like this, haven’t heard from him in quite awhile, I hope he is doing ok. The problem, is the parts and figures, are really kind of expensive.

Major companies could do it much cheaper, all they need to do is change the packaging, by stating not a toy, and not for children under 7. Parents need to bear the responsibility of some common sense as well.

Sorry the word bear in the above post should be spelled bare. I’ve got viking berserkers on my mind, lol.
