Our very good friend Peter Evans has sent some very interesting items that he has found in various pound shops and other stores.
First up are four three inch figures The first photo shows Roman and gladiator The Roman is really nicely detailed.
Here is two knights done in the series. Peter told me that series has 5 Romans and 5 knights. The series is called Warriors of the World. Peter found these figures in a pound store.
The next item we got was an army set. The set contains two different bunkers.
While we have seen the cannon barrel before, I like the wheels they put on the cannon.
The last items are copies of the Matchbox 8th Army. The figures have been downsize to a 53 to 54mm. The figures have a sticky quality to them.
The third item was the Army Force Tank. The tank is a modern tank and comes with generic figures.
The last item is a Barbie figure done by Kinder Egg. Kinder Egg does hollow chocolate eggs with a capsule inside the egg. The capsule can contain trucks, comic characters, etc. The Kinder Eggs are illegal in the United States if the figure is still in egg. If the capsule is outside the egg, you can bring in the capsule. Kinder is doing a series of Barbie figure. Figure is 60mm. The figure could be used as a USO performer as an example. There are six in the series.
Did you forget to tell us what SCALE the knights and Romans were in?
Looks like Peter found some nice stuff,Good job Pete !

Peter has found many interesting things as he is looking for friends , Plastic Warrior magazine and himself Peter collects ancients and knights.
I would like to see a photo of the Romans out of the box and next to TSSD Romans for scale and same thing with the Knights. I do appreciate Mr. Evans doing this though. It seems the UK gets more of a selection of 1/32-ish figures than us here in the USA. The bagged Hobbit figures never showed up in the USA to my knowledge and those Horrible Histories figures the same.
Tom
I will take the roman out for box he is beautiful better than the bully figures. The figure is 3 inches so he will be bigger than the TSSD Roman.
Tom
I agree that UK is getting some nice figures over us. The reason we may not see the Hobbit figures is due to licensing costs. The company may have only a licensing rights for the UK and Europe. To get U.S. rights can be more expensive. Britains when they did metal Lord of Ring figures goofed by not having rights for the U.S. so they could not be imported in the U.S.
The 18 pounds cannon with those wheels are rare and interesting, those wheels are great to be used on other cannon in conversion for early ww2 Japanese, Russian, French, German and other artillery. Romans are great match with Papo and Sleight too. Dancer bottom skirt up look something no see very often!!
The Roman soldier and gladiator are downscaled copies of old BBi Warriors of the World, or decent copies. The knights could be, but the one on the right does not look familiar. The original figures are/were static figures in 1 18 scale.

Welcome and thank you for the information.
