I love to roam around flea markets, you never know what you will find. Case in point is the figure above, I was walking around one of my weekday flea markets. The day had been unexciting, when I stopped at the booth of a dealer we have bought from before. Laurie has bought jewelry from this dealer, while I have occasionally have found figures from this dealer. As I was glancing around her items, I found the above Roman Warrior figure. The figure stands 4 1/4 inches high. Checking the bottom of the figure, I found it was made by Schleich. Schleich is a company from Germany that is still in business. The figure was made in China. There is 69 on the bottom I do not know if that is year it was made, or product number. The question is what other figures were part of this series? Something else to watch for.
Update Our very good friend informed us that the figure was a Roman Warrior not a Greek Warrior. Peter mentioned it is was a series that came out with other figures including Arab, Spartan and Ninja. The series was discontinued in 2013.
Hello
This figure is actually meant to be a Roman – could be very, very early Republican Rome, when Greek style armour was still being worn.
He was part of a series by this company of Historical warriors:
Others were Spartan, African, Ninja, Arab, Viking, Egyptian and 6 Gladiators.
The historical range was deleted in 2013 in favour of fantasy Lord of the Rings style knights.

I did a check of the internet and found what you are saying. I remember the figures now that you mention it. I see that on Amazon they are trying to get $14.98. I only paid a $1.00
