This is a rare picture of the guys together. Usually Sparky will not lay next to Quinn. I don’t if he is afraid Quinn might take his place as number one dog or in his former home Sparky was pushed out by a younger dog. We know from the shelter that Sparky was in a home with older people. We do not know if the older people gave him directly to the shelter or they gave to someone else that had a younger dog before he came to the shelter. Sparky had been at the shelter for awhile when we first saw him. I like him right away, but Laurie was looking for a female dog. She went back a couple days later and Sparky was still there. Sparky recognized Laurie and greeted her. Laurie saw this and fell in love with him. We adopted him and made him part of our home.
Percy on the other hand loves Quinn and they play a lot together. I hope to film Quinn and Percy when they get a ball start stealing it from each other. They also do this same trick with a bone. The three dogs are great companions.
