Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show 2025

Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show 2025, we are only a few days from the show, and I have big news, I will be there set up as a dealer. For the first time in 20 years, I will have a table. There are more details in the post below. Also, I have a report on the Allentown Paper Show and the Delaware Toy Show.

Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show 2025 Dealer Time

As I mentioned in the introduction, I will be set up as a dealer at the Gettysburg Toy Soldier Show. Some items I will bring include the Barzso Collectibles Roger Rangers playset and the Mike Finn Set. For you 1/72 scale collectors, I will have part of a collection I just bought. The previous owner would put several sets in one box. I will also try to have my legendary 500 1/72 scale figures in a bag. If you need a boxed Elastolin 70mm siege tower, I will have one plus lots more surprises. See you there.

Allentown Paper Show

This past weekend, I had a plethora of shows I could attend. I decided to skip Chiller as they had no one I wanted to see. Instead, I decided to check out the Allentown Paper Show. This show is held twice a year. I normally do not find figures, but I may find other items for the collection or resale. One year, I found a nice item for Rin Tin Tin.

I got to the show about an hour after it opened and started my rounds. On one table, I spotted an Airfix 1/72 scale Zoo set with the figures on the sprue. With all the 1/72 scale figures I have purchased recently, I do not have any zoo animals. So I picked it up. On the next row, I spotted a reissued Airfix German Halftrack. Underneath it was a bag of Airfix Gurkhas complete. The dealer said he had a box of more items and pulled it out. In the box were Airfix Russians loose and a boxed Almark Japanese. So it was a good day.

Delaware Toy Show

The Delaware Toy Show was the opposite for me. There were very few figures to look at and buy. I did see some friends and was able to wish Mare Lamont a happy birthday.

  1. Hi Paul. I never have been to the Allentown Paper show, but did go to the paper/book auction they used to have at the Merchan Square Mall. I filled up my car one year and doubled my investment by selling 10 of the books the same week. Those were the days.

I look forward to seeing you at Gettysburg, it should be a really good show.

    Take Care for now, Mike

      Hi Mike
I will see you at Gettysburg. At the Allentown Paper Show a dealer was selling the Shadow reprints for $10.00 each He had a quantity so there was a possibility he would have done a deal. I didn’t ask due to the weight and I have enough inventory.

I hope Erwin will attend. I like to read this blog for the great phots and info…and Erwin has some great knowledge about European plastic output that is fascinating. As a little kid in Texas in the 1960’s, I was only aware of Britain’s swoppets. I did not know about all the French and Italian figures. that is why I always say that Stad’s Stuff site is da best! looking forward to Paul’s updates/posts/observations.
BTW–I would like to hear more from Greg Liska. His conversions of figures and vehicles are very cools, and his comments are fun. If he is only on FB groups, I will never see it. Stad’s Stuff–no one needs to go anywhere else…!
Also, Paul, if Skip Castoro is reading this– I hope he will ask you for my email. It seems that he and I are building very similar dioramas about the ACW in 54mm scale.

      Hi Gary,
Erwin did attend and got to meet some of the people he has talked to. We also had people come up to us and thank us for our information we share in the blog. I can tell you we are both very humble by the positive feelings we received.
I purchased a foreign collection at the show which I will be showcasing. Very interesting time.
