Train Show Time Odd Roman Chariot, I love going to train shows as you might find plastic figures. Next, we have an odd Roman chariot that my friend Markus Lecksheid acquired at Nantes. Third, we have some photos of the buildings that were sold at Nantes
Train Show Time Odd Figures

I use a personal term: out of position. This means that the show is outside the normal range of competition or is a different show than a toy show. The train show that I did last Sunday fit both categories. The train show had both an indoor and outdoor setup. I did the inside first and while I did not find any plastic figures I got a nice lot of HO tanks and an action figure.
After placing my indoor purchases in the car, I did the outside dealers. While the outside dealers were undercover they still had to deal with the cold. I found one dealer with some figures which were mostly Britains, but he had three Starlux Female band figures! These were the last figures I thought to see. Another dealer had two lots of plastic figures. In the lots were Marx, Timmee, Auburn, Ideal, and even Timpo solid cowboys. The one lot was in a bread pan that I found out later on Ebay was being offered for $29.95. So it was a good day.
Odd Chariot

My friend Markus got this Hong Kong-made Roman chariot. The horses look like copies of Thomas Toys. What makes the chariot odd it has tires instead of wheels. You wondered why it got tires.

The chariot came with a nice Roman. I wonder if this company did other figures.
Buildings

One of the highlights of the Nante was buildings done by Christ Koz.

He does full buildings and storefronts. Chris said he sold most of his buildings. I hope to have more of these buildings. I want to thank Patou for using his photos.
Train Show Time Odd Meeting a New Friend
Besides letting me share his photos of Christ Koz’s buildings, Patou sent this photo of the two of us at Nantes last October. I had a great meeting with him and other people from France and hope to be back this October. I will have more photos and also my friend Andreas Dittmann of the Eurofigurine show.
Shows

Several shows are coming up. First, The Midwest Toy Soldier Show on March 16. Mike Predergast has posted more on the show.

For those on the East Coast, we have the New Jersey Toy Soldier Show. Also on March 16. I will be there roaming around.
Next week will be the German Plastic Show run by my friends Peter Bergner and Markus Lecksheid. I will have photos from that show.
Hi Paul,
Do you have a contact for Christ Koz? I am looking for adobe Western type buildings. Thank you for all your information and insights. You saved plastic Toy Soldier collecting.
Best,
Zinc Pederson
