November 2024 Odds Ends Marx Farm Truck
I went to a local farmers’ market looking for some items for a friend. I did not find any items for my friend, so I went into the regular market to get some food to take home. Going through the market, I discovered a stand that had been at another market. they sell a wide variety of items including toys. As I was going through their stock, I first found a bag of Airfix HO band figures. Next, I spotted a bag of Marx farm animals with two Stuart Horses. since I sell the Stuart Horses I purchased the bag along with a bag of hard plastic trees.
The surprise was the bag the ones that I purchased. In the next bag was a Marx farm truck in yellow with some farm accessories. I knew it was not the regular farm truck and I was right as I was told it was only in the large farm sets. So it made the day worthwhile.
Eurofigurines Show
I was very impressed with the Eurofigurines Show. Admission was free for attendees, and they had drinks available for free. It was interesting to see the wide variety of Starlux. As I said before I was amazed by the amount of Timpo available. I found many other figures from other companies that you don’t normally see here. Also, I was able to get non-toy soldiers including Comix of Spain superheroes.
One other thing I enjoyed was meeting some of the members of a French group I belong to. After four hours, I headed back to my room to relax.
