Brian Johnson has passed along this update from the Timmee Army blog on Timmee Germany. As has been reported before Timmee had a company in Germany making Timmee figures. While most of the figures were copies of Timmee U.S., Timmee made figures that exclusive to the German market. An example of only made in Germany is the pirate with steering wheel. Kent Sprecher got some pictures from Daniel Lepers of a vacuum form missile base, unusual vehicles and color variations

Interesting photos. For some reason, now that I’ve reached retirement age, I like seeing all that bright Timmee plastic in rich colored tones, and I’m now got a fairly substantial collection of the 70mm Timmee knights, pirates, and Robin Hood figures. I tried finding a picture on the internet of the Timmee pirate with the ship steering wheel, but couldn’t locate it. I really would like to see it if anyone can post a photo or a link. I’m going to check Kent Sprecher’s Toy Soldier HQ site again, but I don’t think I’ve seen it depicted there before.
I stand corrected on Kent’s Toy Soldier HQ site. He does indeed depict the German-made pirates with the ship steering wheel — in 4 different colors actually, and indentifying them as made in Germany.

I had done a picture of the Timmee Pirate with the steering wheel side by side to the Timmee sailor with steering wheel, but I can not find it now. I will be doing another picture tomorrow and posted it.
Timmee figures are fun figures. I like the pioneers I had as a child. My favorite Timmee figure was the U.S Army with bayonet at waist. I had him as my Sergeant Rock, even though Sergeant Rock in the comic books had a submachine gun.
Timmees were my “Enemy” troops. The figure you used for Sgt Rock had many a Bayonet duel with the Marx/Lido GI counterpart figure in the back garden!!
