July 2024 Odds Ends New Figures

July 2024 Odds Ends New Figures, as we deal with this hot weather various companies are hard at work on figures. We will have reports from Warhorse, LOD, and Russian makers. Some of the figures are out now and others will be out in the future.

I will also give you an update on my health.

July 2024 Odds Ends Warhorse Miniatures

July 2024 Odds Ends Cheyenne

Warhorse Miniatures is showing various Indians that they have planned for the next few months. One of the sets is Cheyenne Dog Soldiers. I like the figure advancing firing a pistol.

July 2024 Odds Ends Crow Indians

Another Indian group that Mike is doing is the Crow Indians. We had shown a couple of poses before. They will be made in a blue color. About 57mm, to match TSSD Indians.

Mike also posted this information. I am taking a break from the Plains Indians for a few weeks. In August we will start working on the Pawnee Indians. I wanted to update the French Marines and make some figures for an encampment setting. They will be Marines with the Stocking hat in Indian leggings and in more traditional Tricorn hat & gaiters covering the legs. I already have some tents and props made like a campfire & supplies. The British 44th Regiment is also getting a rework with some minor changes.

LOD Enterprises

To celebrate its 1oth Anniversary, LOD Enterprises will have two fun sets with their original Bronze Age lineup in different colors. The pastel version has purple Greeks and green Trojans while the neon option offers orange Greeks and yellow Trojans.

Also, LOD will have a new set of Aliens and defenders. These figures will be available at the Chicago Show.

Gladiator Two Trailer

They have released the trailer for Gladiator Two. I was impressed by the sea battle in the Colosseum. Then we have the Rhino. Check it out.

July 2024 Odds Ends Russian Figures

July 2024 Odds Ends aliens

Once again we are seeing a plethora of new figures from Russia. First up are from Plastic Platoon Marines related to the movie Alien.

Health Update

I am doing fine. I am now waiting for another Blazon to get my Ab Fib back into sync. Otherwise, I will be happy when we get out of these heat waves.

The figures from Mike are awesome ,i will get them as soon i can .
The Biplant sets are nice but i noticed several dealers are getting greedy and selling then for far more much these Biplant sets just to be $40.00 plus per set of 6 figures ) is not at all what Biplant sets just to be before .The set base in the film Aliens is nice ,specially as it have Ripley and the girl not depicted in the Treehouse playset made before but as usual the prices on these makers are forbidden to me and not of my interest any longer ,so another to pass on .Good luck .

I have to agree with you concerning price gouging on BiPlant figures. I remember picking up some of their stuff some years back and the prices didn’t seem to unreasonable to me at the time. Looking at the asking prices on some of the newer sets…

I understand inflation and all, but it seems a bit too much. Some will pay it though, more power to them.

Glad to hear you’re doing well. Do you still sell figures on this site, I had to step away since COVID but am searching again, I can’t seem to find a sales list.
