Replicants Horse Medieval Horse Cart Header Cards, We look at the other item that was offered at the Plastic Warrior Show. Next, I talk about people who are possessed to have something if it is not for sale. Finally, I shared some header cards.
Replicants Horse Medieval Horse Cart
One other item that Replicants was selling at the Plastic Warrior Show was a medieval horse cart. Unfortunately, due to production problems, Peter Cole of Replicants only had eight for sale. I was lucky to get one to share with you.
The cart is in hard plastic while the wagon driver and horse are soft plastic. The wagon driver is red with the horse cart and is also done in green with a minstrel. This piece will be excellent to use with your Marx 54mm Robin Hood Figures and playset. You can recreate Robin Hood being taken to be hanged. I hope Replicants can overcome their problems as this is a great piece.
Possessed
One aspect I have had to deal with is some people think when you put an item up to showcase it you want to sell it. Most of the time that assumption is wrong and once the person is told that it is not for sale they stop. Then there is a small group who don’t take no for an answer. They will persist and try the sympathy card hoping you will part with the item. For me, it makes me more upset.
Right now, there is a person who is after the Blue Box Sir Francis Drake figure. He waxed about how he took a photo of his late wife in front of the Sir Francis Drake Statue. The figure would be a great remembrance of her and the trip.
The problem is this figure is very hard to find. Blue Box Historical Figures are hard to find. I find one once every five years if I am lucky. It is something I do not want to give up.
This person started to pestered again recently and besides me hit other figures. It has only led him to receive my displeasure. I will not help this person ever again.
Header Cards
Going through some boxes I found some of the header cards I have acquired. This one was used for the Marx 60mm Robin Hood figures in the UK.
Dulcop made a generic card. One side was western
The other side is military
Here we have a header card from Gulliver. I love the artwork.
I found this header card from Payton. You got figures very likely the 45mm army figures and two vehicles for only $.98.
Finally, this header card could have been for the Timmee knights in Mexico.
I always appreciate your take on toy soldiers, that we can create scenes and tell stories with them, Paul. Even though most of us are senior citizens now, it’s still fun for us to think of ways to play with our figures, and to actually do that. There is no age limit for me, on playing with our little figures!
Peter Cole always surprises us
