Plastic Warrior Show 2024 Figure Time, I have recovered from my recent trip. It was a great time. I got to see old friends and make a few new ones. Over the next few posts, I will be sharing various thoughts on the trip. In this post, I will share some of the figures I found for the collection. so sit back and enjoy.
Plastic Warrior Show 2024 Photos
The Replicants’ offering this year is two different items. The first is a minstrel and a wagon master in green. These will go great with your Robin Hood figures. The other is a horse cart. Sadly Peter Cole of Replicants was only able to have eight of the carts at the show due to production problems. I was able to get one and will have it in a future post.
One misconception of the Plastic Warrior Show is it is only British plastic. While there are lots of British plastic the show has figures from around the world. I look for figures that are different. The figure on the left is by Koho of Germany. The middle figure is from Roche of France is from their Davy Crockett series. the cowboy is an unknown French premium.
This figure is being identified as a Cherilea swoppet. I picked it up either at PW or in Belgium. Besides, going to the Plastic Warrior Show. I got to go over to Belgium for a monthly collectible show.
The figure on the left I got from my friend Peter Evans. It is an example of his fantastic painting. The middle figure is a mystery right now. I bought it as it was different. The Horseguard on the right is by Hilco and is hard to find. I was told that the sculptor for this figure also did the Marx Lifeguards.
A Few More Photos
Sometimes I find a figure interesting. The figure on the left got me as it was on a copy of a Lido Western horse. Also, it only cost a Euro. The figure on the right, I like as it was similar to the Marx soldier carrying the ammo box.
In a future post, I will be showing a UK Marx header bag and samples from the French molds that was found earlier this year.
Fun and interesting figures. I look forward to seeing the Replicants horse cart.
The soldier carrying what looks more like a medical or document luggage rather than ammunition box as Marx is a German soldier from 1960 s representing the Bundeswehr ,made by Leyla company from Germany ,part of larger set of 10 or 11 poses as far i recall ,i will have check my set .The unpainted are later production .
