Expeditionary Force Civil War Command Sets News

Hi All,
Happy New Year!
I am very pleased to inform you of the release of two new sets as follows:
54 ACW 06 G ACW C.S. Command
The box set contains 9 model soldiers plus 1 horse model. There are 2 flag-bearers; 2 infantry officers, 2 musicians in frock coats, and 2 musicians in zouave dress; plus a mounted staff officer.

The models are sized to match our existing ACW range of models. The photos are all test castings, in grey plastics. The blue set (54 ACW 06 B) models will be in sky-blue plastics, matching the dismounted figure on the left.

Here we have the three different officer poses in the set.

There will be no new product releases for February 2024. Chinese New Year.

I’m wonder if EXF ACW new sets are in scale according to early first ACW set that were not made in the big 1/30 range as most EXF are .
I believe I read they were. If I remember correctly (it’s been awhile since I had them out), their ACW sets pretty well matched the Marx Centennial figures? I’m currently moving my collection into my new “War Room/Man Cave” so am able to access some figures I haven’t even seen in almost ten years. Hopefully, within a week or so I’ll be able to get my ACW figures out and take some comparison shots of figures for general reference.
The problem goes as EXF list them as 54 mm in many sets and they are not clearly.
No only in body mass but in height and size of weapons.
The early ACW were sold as 54 mm and I have them but storage away .
Their Japanese are listed as 54mm and 60 mm.The guys are bigger as if were Japanese in steroid if compare with Marx ,Mars,CTS ,Airfix or Britain ,while blend well with BMC ,Oliver,Jecsan and Comansi.
True; I passed on their WW2 series because of the discrepancy in size. I did get some of their War of 1812 Militia sets to use as Alamo defenders; they’re a bit large, but I can use them.
Their Persians made good matches for my Conte Spartans. Size and scale are one thing I watch carefully. As I’ve said before – compatibility is the make or break with me. I’ve had to pass on some really beautiful sets because they just didn’t blend for one reason or another with my other sets from the war/era.
Yes ,I agree .
I do it blend with others and play around as I can .
