2024 January German Shows Various Figures, I have a report of two shows my friend Markus Leckshied attended.

2024 January German Shows Toys and Antique

My friend Markus Leckshied attended two shows this month in Germany. The first was a toy show. Markus said the show was mostly cars and trains.

This is a table of character items that were for sale.

While there were no figures except some flats. Markus broke down and purchased two Corgi vehicles.

These are the flats that Markus passed on. Markus did buy a model train bridge, an old model kit, and a partially complete space rocket launcher from German production.

German Antiques Show

The other show that Markus attended was a new antique show in Herne. He had a double purpose as his job required him to make sure everything ran smoothly. The show was at the old location where the German Plastic was first held.

Markus was surprised by the mixture of items and the crowd. Among the tables were toys for sale.

I was amazed by the amount of toys that were at this show.

Markus found several figure items for his collection. Some copies of the Marx 60mm and Crescent Romans are in the bag. Next, a Britains Civil War cannon in the box. The prize of the show was a set of Miniplast Mexicans in the box. Miniplast was a very small company in Germany. Their figures are marked Made in West Berlin, not West Germany. Markus also got a group of toy catalogs including one from Hamleys of the UK.
