Countdown to Christmas Happy Holidays What I am Doing
I got this from Facebook and it is how I feel this year. Last year, I was still dealing with the loss of Laurie and other things. This year, I feel better and I was able to get to the Plastic Warrior show. Unfortunately, my ab fib came back and I had to cancel Germany. I will have my procedure now on January 16th fingers crossed.
I know some of our brethren have various health issues and I wish you well.
This Christmas season I got out more and enjoyed the season. I was able to do an auction and a few flea markets. I have added items to the collection and resale. I will do some more roaming this weekend. Thanks, Chris for the photo.
Sparky is doing well. He sleeps more but when he goes he can be quite active. He is happy when he sees his friends. One of his friends may be a young fox that he sees at night.
I will likely stay home on Christmas Day.
How to Get on My Naughty List (Banned Bidder List)
Among the figures I got at an auction was a Remco Hamilton Invaders pilot. I put it up on Ebay for $15.00 and it sold in 24 hours. I acquired another one and decided to try $20.00. If it does not sell in a month I will drop back to $15.00.
I got an email from a person. He chided me on the price and told me the price for this figure is between $5.00 to $10.00. The person then offered me $10.00. I declined his offer and told him I sold my last one for $15.00.
He also earned a spot on my Ebay banned bidders. The reason is I do not like lecturers. I am not upset about legitimate criticisms. People who are lecturers are so full of themselves. They think they know what they are talking about. Right now, there is only one other on Ebay. It is with a partial helicopter for $59.99. I know what his game was, it was to get the figure for a cheaper price. Well, he will have to find someone else to buy it from.

In your case you are right. However, I often see absolute junk figures advertised for ridiculous prices by people who know nothing about toy soldiers and I sometimes message them the true value just because it annoys me to see stupid prices.
You are a brave man to do that. I have given up trying to correct people on figures as they can get so testy.
Agree ,they get nasty and jerks and and don’t like to be corrected ,not appreciate help.Some are trying to get the items free from you .International and national sales are affected because prices on shipping increased always ,that is NOT the seller fault ,yet some want you to reduce the shipping cost for them or even ask for free shipping .Like if we sales things for free .I’m always blocking those but still some left always to play the game .I think you become a collector and buy if can afford it only. My rules are to send offers only if seller accept it as that; if not not bothering as is his/her price and i respect so .If you can not afford it just pass on and go on ,some day you will find it better but don’t try to scratch the bucket of it if you not can pay the price . My thoughts …

Paul, You are so correct about the lecturers. I have almost 50 folks blocked on my Ebay sites. Some for lecturing, some for failing to pay, some for ridiculous requests. There are SO many GOOD customers in Ebay land, I just do not have time to fool with the idiots. Thanks for running this great web-page and hope to see you at Gettysburg in April! Mike
