Toy Soldier Show Time Match 2023, I have two reports of recent toy soldier shows. In this report, the first is the Spring Eurofigurines show that was held in France. My next report will have about the New Jersey Toy Soldier Show

Toy Soldier Show Time Eurofigures Show Spring 2023

The Eurofigurines Show was held on March 19 in a suburb of Paris. My very good friends Markus Lecksheid and Peter Bergner from Germany attended the show.

Markus said the crowd was good and three was lots of plastic on and under the tables.

A number of stands had Timpo figures including on this stand their teepee.
Starlux figures
a collector is looking at some of the many figures for sale. Notice the dealer has a vacuum form piece under the table.

Here are two Starlux wooden sets a Gallic village and a military base.

In the foreground, we have Britains Deetail. I wonder what they wanted for the French Foreign Legion Gatling Gun?

A nice mix of figures, the top shelf has Timpo western figures. The show had a lot of first-version of Timpo western figures.

One final table with Starlux and armored vehicles. Markus said they had a great besides the show they had great food and drink as well as a pleasant train ride.

    Just an observation…….I notice on the majority of European Toy Soldier Show photos, items are only displayed in flat boxes. But at US Shows, most dealers utilize some type of shelving to help get buyer’s attention and to display more items than just laying them flat. Having never been to a show outside the US, I just wonder why that would be. Now I will let my old brain rest until it comes up with another important question! 🙂

    There had been a minority of dealers displaying on shelves and one used kind of wooden cabinet. Simply didn’t take pics of those tables. Fell into kind of plastic trance at the show to name it positive. Or into kind of Zombie to name it for real. “Dawn of the dead plastic”.
