I sure like the Mars U.S. Para second set figure firing his Thompson from his shoulder. Not holding the weapon by the magazine, not having his fingers wrapped around the (very, very hot; scalding!) barrel, this looks like a great pose!
The prone BAR gunner; I don’t believe he could hold this pose for too long. But if under fire in a run ‘n’ gun attack mode maybe….
Glad to hear you are starting to get around better. Hope you continue to mend Paul,
JJ
I am better but I tire easily. I am so much better at walking today I had to see my new heart doctor and it was a long hall to her office. In the past, I would have had to stop once. Today, I did the hall without a stop. I still have a long road ahead but I am hanging in there.
Regarding Little Man’s Neva Russian sailors, I know little about Russian weapons, but the three figures aiming their weapons all appear to have their guns cocked but the pans are open. No steel for the flints to strike won’t even yield a flash in the pan.
That should give the Tinglits a fighting chance.
I have never seen a pistol held muzzle up by a strap which would defy gravity. Also the pistol man looks like he has on foul weather hood and cape which is a very interesting look.. If it were raining, he’d probably want the muzzle down to keep the rain out of the pistol barrel. I guess it could be a loaded smooth bore pistol, in which case the barrel would be up to keep the ball from rolling out, but I still can’t see a fastener that will keep this pistol from sliding from under the strap.
Amazingly sculpted figures, otherwise. They miss the mark in the detail, though. JJ’s comment on the Mars paratrooper is telling: Mars got the paratrooper’s hands in the right places to not be burned by hot metal. But Little Man has rendered the sailors’ weapons impotent.
The same things happen in movies that defy reality…oh, well. They do have great looking faces, which Replicants messes up with their Nelson’s Royal Navy figures of approximately the same era.
Rahway sent me this information on the figures
Just some background info:
Little Men, Chelovechek, released Set 15 “Neva” in June.
Set 16 “Maori – Taboo” was released in September.
He is now showing figures from Set 17 “Nadezhda”.
All announcements are being posted on his FB page.

Thanks for the link, Admin.
After visiting the facebook page and seeing the figures in greater detail, I see the kneeling man has just fired his weapon but the standing man with the long arm and the man with the pistols are still in trouble as neither of their guns will be firing.
Little Man figures look to be in the style of East German and USSR toy soldiers. The bulk of their figures look to be Victorian Era, of rarely covered figures. The sailors were of interest to me for that era I like-18th Century thru Napoleon, but not this particular group.
RE:Russian Sailors is #3 from left carrying the 1st Russian RPG?LOL.
LOL!!!
LOL! It does look more like a RPG in scale than a belaying pin, which I’m guessing t’s supposed to be
The aliens are cool, being pre-Star Wars so not influenced by that film at all.
Plus, a few kinda look like my neighbors.
Happy Birthday Paul …
Glad have you for so long and going .
Wish u best and many more …
