Part Two Plastic Figures Galore Mars Elastowit Mars Elastowit, new figures just keep showing up. First, we have a preview of the Mars New German anti-tank team. Next, Elastowit has a new set of figures dealing with Tecumseh. Plastic Platoon has three sets coming out. Publius is showing Modern Russian forces.

Elastowit Tecumseh

Part Two Plastic Figures Tecumesh — Elastowit is doing a new set of figures for a series called Tecumseh Wars. Tecumseh was a Shawnee chief who tried to resist the advance of the United States. Allied with the British. He leads his confederacy in several battles until dying in the Battle of Thames. Here we have Tecumseh being shot by Richard Mentor Johnson.

modern Russians — The set has eight different poses. I see some of the figures used for Space figures. As mentioned with Plastic Platoon these figures are not available in many countries. i have more new figures to do in another post.

Mars pose with early panzerschreck and gas mask is well properly historical accurate .
The elastowit figures in many poses have strong resemblance to former DDR (East Germany) films made in Soviet era about this historical figures,I think there were two films,one of 1972 with some partiallyrealistic battles scenes for the time .

The East German film on Tecumseh is on Youtube in German. Here is a clip depicting the Battle of Tippecanoe, which has some issues of historical detail, and which will be particularly amazing to my fellow Hoosiers in its depiction of Indiana:

  Yes that is one ,there some incorrect detail but overall ok for time where made ,the American United state army/militia uniforms are better depicted ,Indians are mix ,weapons not much in consideration .There other film with Tecumseh made in DDR as well .Both strong politized but was the norm back them in former socialist camp ..

The “Modern Russian” forces set has come out just in time for the war. I hope they don’t sell a single set.

  Not likely, but they should sell a bunch of modern russian troops dead and dying.
  That’s what’s going on with them right now. I imagine some of our figure converters will eventually alter these figures, displaying the poses there should be. Oh, and lots of poses of surrendering.

Mars keeps coming out with great sets of figures. Nice poses and nice detail. I am excited about getting this set, the upcoming British Paras, and a few future sets that I have been told about. They have become a major player in the Toy Soldier world.
