Odds Ends May 2022 Plastic Platoon Marines, we end up the month of May with some previews. First, the Plastic Platoon shows some new items for collectors. Warhorse Miniatures is showing some more additions to the Viking Horde. Also, Mike is tinkering with his blacksmith shop. We get a health situation on a fellow collector Ed Borris.

Odds Ends May 2022 Plastic Platoon Marines
Mikhail Glikan of Plastic Platoon has posted several photos of two future figures. The first one is a marine support group. The six-figure set a two-man bazooka team, a Browning M1917 with a man with two ammo boxes, a marine with a BAR at the waist, and officer with a submachine gun and SCR-536 or walkie talkie. As always the figures are highly detailed. I like how the machine gun is supported by fallen logs.
Odds Ends May 2022 Rev cavalry
The other figure is a mounted Revolutionary War cavalry. The above figure is a member of the British Legion Green Dragoon. This was the unit that was commanded by Banastre Tarleton. No date has been given when these figures will be out. The problem is mail between Russia and U.S. has been suspended. We will have if these figures will be available here.

Warhorse Miniatures

blacksmith shop
Mike has been tinkering with his blacksmith shop. Here is what he says.
I have been tinkering around with the Blacksmith shop. I have merged some of the props like the weapon rack. Plus, I added a base to some of the other items. The Blacksmith has been changed too. I might update the shop part too. Here is what it looks like now. can wait to see what’s next.

    I hate to hear this.

    Having just been declared in full remission from Stage 4 Follicular Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma my thoughts and prayers are with you Ed! This is beatable! Hang tough! I know you will.

    Where will be able to buy the Plastic Platoon. My sources were in Russia and paypal & facebook or down in Russia. My last set I bought from a guy in Estonia but I have lost contact with him.

    FYI, Ed has had his second round of chemo and is a re-hab center in Northbrook < ill. He is answering text messages. i have contact his contact info for anyone that wants it.
