More Toy Show News MFCA Conte Romans, we start off with notice on the MFCA show. I do a review of the Delaware Toy Show. We link to a report from Mike Predergast of the Midwest Toy Soldier Show on the show days. Finally, We have an update from Conte Collectibles on set two of their Romans.

The MFCA is the oldest toy soldier show in the United States. The show had been on hiatus due to Covid. Now back the show is once again at Radisson Hotel. The show has a dealer’s area which will have metal and plastic for sale. The exhibition will have figures and dioramas from people of all skills. This is a highlight of the show. I plan to attend the show.

One of the toy shows we used to enjoy going to was the Delaware Toy Show better known as the April Fools Toy Show. It is a nice show and I get some different dealers. I decided to go down and arrived twenty minutes before it opened. They had to have someone to park the cars as half the normal parking area was taken over by a carnival. I went in and started looking for some old friends. The first person I went to was Kerry as he has Marx items that I can use for Ebay. I got a nice selection of Marx figures also Transogram Crusaders and Giant GIs. Next, I went to Bob Black. He is an old friend who I had gotten great items in the past. I told him on Laurie’s passing who he liked as his wife is also named Laurie. I only got some MPC dinosaurs this time. After checking my two main sources I looked around at the other dealers. Most of the dealers had either action figures or tv character-related items. Still, I found figures from these dealers. One dealer had a bag of Force of Valor pieces and another had bags of figures. One bag I bought only had two rifles and a saddle. one rifle was Stuart and the other is the Winchester for the Marx 60mm cowboy. After an hour and a half, I left the show and went to the Mexican restaurant Laurie like for a meal. One final thing, I would like to thank Mark Mc Dermott for the use of his photo. I looked for him but did not see him.

Conte Collectibles Roman Set 2 Update

Conte Romans
Richard Conte of Conte Collectibles posted on Facebook showing the poses that will be in Roman set two. He has also shown the various extras for each pose except the dead figure. I like how Conte gives you extra so you can do different poses. Can’t wait for these figures.

    I agree both the Romans and French are nice. Nice to see high quality figures at fair prices by US companies again.
