So Stad What Is Up, as you may have noticed I have not posted lately. Nothing is wrong, I have been just busy with other items. I have made some purchases for Ebay which have to be processed. Also, I have taken a break from posting.
So Stad What Is Up Toy Hunting
Arriving at the show I found Tom Stine in line and we talked about toys and a flea market we both do. The doors opened a few minutes late and we were in. Most of the dealers were action figure related, but there were two plastic figure dealers. The one I went to was Kerry from Maryland. He has buys I bought some junk bags and Warriors of World World War I officer. The other dealer I don’t buy as I feel his prices are high for me. He did have other people buying so I figure they found his prices fair.
The Hunt Continues
With the major spots for plastic was taken care of, I checked the other dealers. Besides looking at plastic figures I was for small figures of The Child from The Mandalorian. I had gotten one for Laurie and wanted to get some more for her. I did not find any of The Child, I did find some other figures. From one dealer had a metal Barclay officer and Mould Products composition Airman I got try on Ebay. Then I found a dealer with plastic figures in bags. One bag had two Timpo Indians and Two Britains Deetail Indians. I bought the bag as I had a party for the Timpo Indians. I was surprised when I got the bag home it had the Elastolin Indian shown above with it as well.
After an hour I headed home. I have another show this weekend.
Good to hear from you, Paul!
Nice finds ,it is not common seen many Elastolin pre war in US shows or else
Elastolin figures seem to be very rare.
Are there any reference guides that will identify them, that shows when they were individually produced ?
There several book around about composition elastolin hausser figures and others about genetic composition that show most correct date reference .You will have to buy them .
