Conte Collectibles Roman Two Preview, as we get more into summer, we have two more previews of figures. The first is from Conte Collectibles showing their second set of Romans. Next, we will look at Plastic Platoon’s preview of their World War Two Marines.
Conte Collectibles Roman Two Preview Figures
Plastic Platoon World War Two Marines
- Marine with a machete in right hand firing a 45 pistolwith his left hand.
- Standing firing submachine gun.
- Marine firing a maching gun at waist.
Whille I like the figures, I wish Mikhail had done a figure firing a rifle. What are your thoughts. I have to thank Rahway for keeping aware of the new releases.
I think Marine #6 is actually firing a Johnson M1941 Semi Automatic rifle.
So the cool thing is that both Johnson weapons are represented. I would think these figures would compliment the Austin Miniatures Marines.
Neat stuff!
Now just FLATTEN the bases eh!LOL.
Conte Roman set 2 looks great. Really nicely sculpted heads. They add a lot of character to the set along with the action poses.
I agree with Carl, the PP U.S. Marines will go nicely with Austin Miniatures set.
This second Romans set look awesome !!!
PP as usual nice detail and poses.
I just finished re-reading a history of the First Special Service Force (The “Devils Brigade”) of World War 2. I was interested to read they were able to get 125 M1941 Johnsons from the Marines in exchange for a quantity of plastic explosives. If I mortgaged my house I might be able to get a couple of these guys to add to my own “Devil’s Brigade.” Again, beautifully realized sculpts.
RE:Marines I hope that’s not the final colour.
