Papa Toys Western Town Buildings Photos
At Lousiana Toy Show, the attendants got to see cardboard western buildings of Papa ToysThese buildings are done by Joe MacIsaac. Joe said this on his buildings “ Built from scratch with form core and balsa wood. Detailed and designed inside and out.”I like the different buildings that Joe does. Here is a closeup of the damaged buildings. You can see the different buildings can ake a nice street scene. Joe took the roof of Mad Dog’s saloon so you see the interior.Joe also does accessories. Here is a closeup of the livery stable. You can contact Joe either by phone or email. Joe has no website yet. Joe is selling on Ebay if you type in the word Marx building you will find his work.
I would like to Tim Boles to share his photoss with you.
Simple Conte Collectibles Roman Conversion
Erwin sell sent me some photos he did of Conte Collectibles Roman conversion he did. Here is what he said. took a day off to spend time doing grass work and some hobby stuff, I took one Conte falling wounded Roman, just cut feet off base and then glue it back onto the base. Next, I cut the spear off the back and the front. This pose came out, To me, it looks realistic enough. In my opinion, The Roman is holding and avoiding a blow by raising his shield and lowering his head while trying to reach his opponent with a sword from behind the shield. What do you think?
Detlef’s Photos
Our very good friend Detlef Heerbrand sent me two photos. (Whose birthday was this past week.) The first photo shows what he got at a flea market. Germany has been on lockdown and there have been no flea markets. He got a nice haul. Jean Hoefler Cavalry, Manurba pirates, Heimo(Marx) Vikings, etc.The other photo is a Timpo cowboy converted to the Lone Ranger and a Plasty Indian as Tonto. they have captured some evil cavalry figures.
