Hanomak German Edelweiss Jager

Test Shots

Toy Show Day
I have a toy show that is held twice a year. It is in May and December. The show had to move from its old location Merchants Square Mall. It was because the hall part of the Merchants Square Mall is being converted into stalls. The show moved to Chrin Community Center. I was curious how the change twould affect the show.
I went over to the show and got early rights. the show was well lit and all the tables were occupied. The problem was except for my friend Gerry it was almost action figures. or Hot Wheels. I di miss a large Marx Tom and Jerry. Still, Gerry made the trip worthwhile as he had a wide range of plastic. Hopefully, some of the old dealers will come back.
Very Exciting! Count me IN!!!
Sorry but to me the realistic yet excessive mass hill rock formation bases are way off to use these figures in any actual rock ,level else scene as not way will seat well.Unless u spend time hiding or using velcro to attache figures to scene terrain.
These are mini statues for shelf representing wherever event they are made for. They are just expo historical figures to me
Not quite to play or any use in toy soldiers, war game else.
My thoughts.
Where can I see all 12 poses for both sets?
I have to agree with Erwin; again we have beautifully realized sculpts and figures suitable for display. No problem with that. They are real eye candy and for a true collector I can’t blame anyone for buying them.
I’m a collector, and here lately that seems to be the extent of my participation at least for now until certain things get straightened. But my ultimate goal is to “play” with my guys, painting my 1/ 72 scale and some of my 1/32 (whatever) figures setting them up (no one to game with), taking pics, “playing with” the pictures with photoshop, etc. As of now, I don’t have a place to permanently display sadly. I occasionally even convert some figures and have had some satisfactory results therein.
For me, even as a collector, the primary joy is “playing” with them. As an old friend in the hobby (now gone, sadly) used to like to say, “Get ’em in the dirt!” I wish the fire ants around herex(and my bad back and knees would let me) would let me, LOL – ouch!
If I had a permanent place to display them – or even a cabinet where I could rotate the display – I could see buying them. However, at this price the thought of putting a brush or knife to them makes me shudder. Besides, they are beautiful as they are IMO.
So I guess I will admire them from afar – and admire them I do.
Wayne, I have five display cabinets in which I set up and rotate my dioramas. They give me more pleasure than anyone could imagine. I acquired my latest (FANTASTIC good sized) four shelf cabinet at a consignment shop for $99. I don’t know what part of the country you live in, but I can get a lot of bargains on used AKA “antique” curio cabinets in Connecticut NEVER at full price. I’m retired and can spend happy hours making conversions of figures, buildings, and accessories to display in my curios. One of my favorites is to find beat up Britains or Timpo buildings and wagons on the cheap and converting and fixing them up.
I strongly encourage everyone to think about this and rescue great old display cabinets from junk stores as toy soldier displays.

That’s my dream; just have to create space for it.
