I wondering same. The only match are elastolin housser,3″ Marx, andygurad, east Germany, Nardini or few others.
Because most Russian makers are literally making mini statues in plastic sold at high price it may be a market nichet x those german figures collectors as well.
Most german figures from DDR also were made in same Elastolin scale range 1/25
I find it really obnoxious that toy soldier creators are still obsessed with the idea of Native People attacking white settlers. I realize that it happened frequently, but no more so than white massacres of natives.
It looks to me the sets are base in last of Mohicans as depict a Huron Indian and a British XVIII century officer ,other looks like one of female character from the book (Cora and Alice) ,not quite a mascare scene but a scene from the book .Yet In the book is described the siege of Fort William Henry and consecuente masacre of civilian and unarmed soldiers after the surrender by Indians that happen in reality . https://www.historynet.com/fort-william-henry-1757-a-fate-worse-than-surrender.htm
Love these Engineer Basevich figures, Ive brought many of this companies figures in the past. They are very well detailed, Good poses, And good scale size, Plus they do a very varied figures from different parts of History and different countries, Excellent.
At last Byzantines have been produced in 1/32 scale in plastic thanks to the Engineer!A big gap in the Medieval era has been filled. I hope one day the Engineer or another company will produce Byzantine cavalry.
Expeditionary forces have announce them in their plan .The issue is what century as the eastern roman empire expand for 10 centuries ,it included many cultures and countries armies used in such large expanse /time .
Why would you make a figure 1/24 scale?
