March 2021 Odds Ends Plethora of Items, I a number of items to catch up. First, we have a question about some Britains swoppet figures made in France. Second, we have a new figure from Publius. Third, we have some accessories from Little Man. Fourth, Warhansa has two new fantasy sets.
March 2021 Odds Ends Britains Swoppet Indians
A collector from France sent me a series of photos of swoppet Indians.Andrei had found an article which I posted on Britains in France, which I can’t find. Here a closeup of the figures. Here is the underside of the figures. The collector had a question of what they are worth? any thoughts?
Publius Mounted Indian
Rahway spotted that Publius had issued a mounted Indian with a raised rifle for sale. Checking Ebay, I found it for sale for $32.00 plus a shipping cost of $13.00.
Little Man Cargo Project
The CARGO by CHELOVECHEK project presents its second work on the terrain in the favorite 32nd scale – “Tlingits – Screen”. In this work, we have presented an exact replica of part of the interior of the famous Tlingit House of Whale. These are two magnificent carved totem poles separated by a huge screen decorated with intricate ornamentation, a long dish for treats, two carved chests, and one box. The Whale House collection is considered by many scholars and art collectors of the Northwest Coast to be one of the finest examples of the art of the era. This is a nice series and we can’t wait to see what is next.
Warhansa New Additions
In a previous post, I had shown Warhansa new Robin Hood items. Warhansa has added two fantasy sets. The two sets are Tangars and Dark Warriors. You can see them here.
The are swivel /swoppet figures copies of Herald are indeed rare ,but the skin (white 0 or pale color Indians is odd to me ,they resemble the BB and Star Toy copies made I post here before of Hurons Herald but made with some different variation and right skin colors . https://www.stadsstuff.com/?p=8565
Because rarity of those French made figures, the value may be more out of curiosity rather than realistic toy figures interest I will guess.
