February 2021 Collection Time Unknown French Figure, I decided to take a break from new figure news. It has been a while since I showed a few items from the collection. This came about when a friend after asking me to identified some figures from his collection. He said if there are any figures I don’t know. I replied there are many. If I do not know I post them up here for help.

More Figures

The Bonux is a copy of another French figures brand made series in several poses ,Bonux copied many others as well from Spain ,the astronauts from Jecsan and others,
The Jecsan cowboy is from second series set 12 foot poses and 8 mounted ,his finish pass hand over hammer x rapid reloads firing gesture .Funny detail almost no Jecsan 2nd series cowboy revolver has the hammer depicted .
The Chinese made figure is part of series set made x garage and racing car playset ,sold by Boley first ,then copied by TM and Simba and again cheap copied in unpainted version later .
here a sample partial set

Great stuff! I appreciate the featuring of new plastic, and the great comments from everyone. But, it was great to log on tonight and find some oldies/odds & ends. Erwin’s knowledge is amazing.
Wish all these figs were available in soft plastic re-casts. I’d love to paint them and use them for conversions. I Bet Greg Liska and Ed Borris (sp?) could have some creative fun with these. Thanks to Paul (and Laurie) for such a great site!
Cowboy is coming from TOUMOULAGE (French)
Thank you Pascal ,first time I heard from this brand ..!!
Thank you so much for the information.
Cool that yet another company name emerges…Toumaoulage …Moulage means “mold-making” in French. For 50 years, dentists used “algo-moulage” (sp?) to make exact dental molds. Movie special effects techs used it in the 60’s ( Little Big Man) to make exact casts of human faces—maybe Planet of the Apes, too. So why not use it to make toy soldiers ( especially if you are copying?? lol).
I hope our European collectors can show some examples.
Thanks for the great site!
