Plastic Platoon The Islands New Figure Series, Erwin spotted on Facebook a new exciting series that Plastic Platoon will be doing. Mikhail is showing a second set to this series, marines. Which should please World War Two collectors of the pacific campaign.
Plastic Platoon The Islands The Figures

1. Standing firing a Thompson Submachine Gun
2. Standing with a flame-thrower.
3. Charging with a bayonet rifle. The figure is shirtless.

5. Advancing with a bayonet shotgun. He is wearing a pack.
6. Standing with an automatic weapon. I can’t tell what type it is.
I must say once again Mikhail of Plastic Platoon has outdone himself with the detail. These figures will work well with the TSSD Marines. Plastic Platoon has already showcased their future release of Japanese Infantry.I can wait to see what is next from this company.

Also, Publius has reissued three of their World War Two sets.
I carried a Sevens Savage 12 G in Viet for some time,,
I carried a Winchester 12 guage in RVN.
I can’t get a good look at the mystery weapon, but might it be a Reising submachine gun?
It is …

An interesting addition.
Also the bayoneted M1905 is the large early standard WW2 1941-1943 US bayonet that had barely depicted in toy soldiers .Both the M50 and large bayonet are curios new detail in plastic figures .
best
Hi everyone. Yes George, it’s a Reising .45 cal subgun. Not so good. Scrapped as soon as practicable. These figures are really nice. Maybe in the coming sets there will be radioman, guys reloading weapons, hopefully medics, and casualties. Will go well with the Austins, CTS, TSSD and Marx 60mm. Any chance they will eventually do WW2 Army, in the brown uniforms? Around $25-30 a set I imagine. When they arrive, I’ll get a set. 2 figures per pose? Everyone stay well.
Plastic Platoon runs around $64 for six figure sets.
Plastic Platoon is the first company in decades that has actually made me excited about US Marine and Japanese figure sets again!
