Odds Ends Spooky Tree, we started off with a find from Rick Fisher. We have an update on the ATS Revolutionary War figures. Staying on the Revolutionary War, we will look at Accurate Revolutionary Colonial. Also, we have another new item from Warhansa.

Odds Ends Spooky Tree
Odds Ends Spooky Tree, Rich Fisher found the following item at Dollar General. The tree is five inches high and cost $3.00. The tree lights up so it needs three AAA batteries. Rich feels it would be great for either a Halloween or fantasy.

Updates

ATS Figures
CSKO sends a photo of the ATS Revolutionary poses showing them a little clearer. He also said this about the light blue figure. Al had power blue run for the officer, as an extra if you bought a certain amount of figures, I don’t remember what figures though, this was well after he had been selling his general sets of Rev War figures.
Plasticville garden
Well, Stad goof, it is not Britains but Plasticville. The flowers threw me off as they are similar to the Britains. Still, it is a nice item and I am glad I picked it up. It was suggested by someone it might be by Faller, Wiad, or Noch well he was wrong. Once I knew what it was I found its history.here. sorry for the goof, but it leads me to a new appreciation of Plasticville.
Accurate Rev War
Going through the collection I found this Accurate colonial militia in tan. Accurate was one of the companies that tried to replace Airfix.
Colonials
I remember when I got my first box, I was surprised that an English company would do the American Revolution instead of some other theme. Another weakness was that five of the ten poses were what call standing around the campfire. This was remedied with five new poses.

Warhansa Aztecs

Warhansa Aztecs
Warhansa has done another set this time Aztec warriors will go over the poses in my next post.

Question

A friend of mine got a partial TSSD Road to Stalingrad. He needs to knowhow many figures went with set and what it is worth. Can anyone help?

I have a lot of old Plasticville and Littletown buildings that are very nice, but too small a scale for my mainly 54mm collection. The Littletown stores and shops are the same basic 2 buildings with separate cardboard litho inserts – butcher shop, toy shop, bakery, barber, etc..

  2. ERWIN SELL says:

Yes unfortunately Plastiville was made intend to 1/48-46 train line scale but some can be used close to 1/35 =45-50 mm scale figures
ERTL did some nice western limited set as well town(ERTL 4421-9590 COUNTRY WESTERN TOWN SET) much better detailed as they have the inside parts such jail and floors all in aplastic .I sold my two sets ,one last sold was not complete but both main building jail and saloon /hotel included .ERTL are made of not fragile plastic as Plastiville also .
