May Peter Bergner’s Finds Interesting Figures

May Peter Bergner's Finds Indian
As we have showcase before one of the highlights of the German Plastic Show is Peter Bergner’s junk boxes. With things a little more relaxed in Germany, he was able to acquire more items for his junk boxes. He sent me some photos of the better items he got. The first item is an Indian holding a bird in his right hand. This is a French premium. I will show another version from my collection which similar but not a premium.
May Peter Bergner's Finds Cowboy
this cowboy is another French figure. I believe I have shown a different hard plastic cowboy from this series.
May Peter Bergner's Finds Lido
This is a copy of the early Lido hard plastic cowboy kneeling firing a pistol. the unknown company for the moment added a base that the original figure did not have.
Pirate
Here we have an unknown with a pegleg. Peter said this figure is 40mm, while the other figures are 54mm.
Batman
The next figure has the name of Batman across the waist. I told Peter that the figure is very likely a knockoff. Where it is from is a mystery.
foot Knight
The last two are knights. They are both hard plastic and either Czech or Polish origin.
Mounted knight
the other knight is missing his horse and lance. These are only a few of the surprises that will be in Peter’s junk boxes.

Hing Fat Catalog

CS Asko sent this link to the Hing Fat Catalog. You can see the various items they offer.

One More Thing

Indian and bird
I found that the Indian I have and the one Peter has are the same except for the color. Laurie and I like the pose. We like the pose is not a typical Indian pose with a weapon.

What’s the word on Indian’s base?

    • Mark T. says:

The first word definitely is “Cheval” which is French for Horse. Second 3 letter word might be “Fou” which is French for Crazy. So he is Crazy Horse. Makes sense because the historical Crazy Horse’s totem animal was the red-tailed hawk. Crazy Horse seems to be well known in France. They even named a famous Parisian burlesque show after him.

  2. ERWIN SELL says:

The two medieval figures ,one foot and mounted are from Poland by PZG
Foot as as a polish men at arms.Mounted is a polish knight for the battle of Grunwald 1410,he represent Zawisza Czarny .

I have that foot Knight from Poland along with several others that i brought on ebay a few years ago from a guy from Bulgaria, Nice figures.

  3. ERWIN SELL says:

The black figure is a bootleg from Mexico mos likely and made off former wrestler figure pose made in mexico as well .

  4. Detlef Heerbrand says:

The black figure is not a Batmann bootleg from Mexico but a premium addition for subscribers to the comic Diabolik from Italy. Over the years, these were also available with various stickers as belts, for example with the club colors of Italian football clubs etc…

I was thinking that it might be Diabolik. Someone must have added the Batman sticker as Batman has great recognition that Diabolik outside of Italy.

  5. Detlef Heerbrand says:

The 40mm pirate is by POPLAR PLAYTHINGS. Made in the UK.
There were six different poses in the set. Not as well known as their 40mm western series

  7. James Joc says:

I am looking forward to seeing the ape men out of the bag and to purchase some for wargame units for fantasy games. Possibly they could be painted as orcs etc as well.
