What’s the word on Indian’s base?
The first word definitely is “Cheval” which is French for Horse. Second 3 letter word might be “Fou” which is French for Crazy. So he is Crazy Horse. Makes sense because the historical Crazy Horse’s totem animal was the red-tailed hawk. Crazy Horse seems to be well known in France. They even named a famous Parisian burlesque show after him.
Mark thanks for the information. Westerns were very popular in Europe.

The black figure is a bootleg from Mexico mos likely and made off former wrestler figure pose made in mexico as well .
The black figure is not a Batmann bootleg from Mexico but a premium addition for subscribers to the comic Diabolik from Italy. Over the years, these were also available with various stickers as belts, for example with the club colors of Italian football clubs etc…

I was thinking that it might be Diabolik. Someone must have added the Batman sticker as Batman has great recognition that Diabolik outside of Italy.
The white cowboy probably comes from France and is from Toumoulage .. in Germany they also existed and were sold by the Plasticum company ..

The 40mm pirate is by POPLAR PLAYTHINGS. Made in the UK.
There were six different poses in the set. Not as well known as their 40mm western series
I am looking forward to seeing the ape men out of the bag and to purchase some for wargame units for fantasy games. Possibly they could be painted as orcs etc as well.
